Sites like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. pay you for fixing their search results. You just have to mend the errors of the search engine results and make them qualitative, relevant, and useful. Doing this you can earn around $12 per hour.

They are highly sought out in our area of Dallas because people like that they are close and that there are much fewer children involved that a more corporate daycare.

Sadly my long kept collection of Star Wars and X-Files trading cards were only selling for a few cents on eBay, so I decided just to keep them for the memories.

If you have a crafty side, put it to good use. Visit the nearest flea market, Craigslist, or Freecycle.org and buy some interesting items, restore them, add your special touch, and resell them for a profit.

If you enjoy this type of work, consider starting an Etsy store. One of my wife’s friends felt staying home with her two boys was great, but she missed having an artistic outlet. She researched what was popular on Etsy and started making artistic versions of people’s photos. It only took a few months for her shop to become as busy.


43. Sell your cell phone
Whether a new model or an old one, you can sell your cell phone. You can go for Amazon that gives gift cards for working iPhones, or websites like Gazelle that give you cash for that old phone.

The Nielsen Consumer Panel offers gift points to look what’s in your fridge. You just have to scan barcodes of your fridge products and send it to them. Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, you scan all of your purchases and transmit the data. You may also be contacted from time to time about your opinions and to answer questions.
2. Being a panelist takes about an hour a week.
3. You accumulate points with each interaction and earn more points the longer you’re on the panel.

53. Sell your junk mail
Do you love getting junk mail? If you’re like me, you probably don’t – that’s why we call it junk! Other than recycle, trash, or burn it in the winter what can you do with it?

Despite the prestige and high fees, 80% of actively managed funds underperform market-indexed funds and exchange-traded funds. You’re better off with an index fund, which has much lower fees and will probably get you a better return for your money.

This one’s a no-brainer. Your credit score determines how much you’ll pay for any type of credit. There are multiple online sites, including NerdWallet, that will give you a free credit score. After finding out where you stand, work on building your score. Once you make some progress, contact the issuer of your credit card, personal loan or other debt to negotiate a lower interest rate.

61. Maximize your tax refunds
Tax time brings an opportunity to boost your income. Scrutinize your last tax return to discover ways you can maximize your long-anticipated refund check and optimize your tax strategy.

62. Use rewards malls and cash-back websites
Little-known fact: You can earn cash back for the money you spend online anyway, just by clicking through another website first. Your credit card probably has a rewards mall that offers cash back or points on everything from Expedia to Macy’s to Zales. Before you try to add a side gig, make sure your main job is doing all it can for you.

64. Ask for a raise
Saving money is all well and good, but making more money is even better. Try negotiating a raise — even in a tough job economy, sitting down at the bargaining table with politeness, confidence and respect for yourself and the organization can have its benefits.

65. Max out your IRA and 401(k)
Put the maximum allowable amount into your 401(k) and IRA contributions every year. The tax benefit may boost your refund now, but the real payoff comes at retirement. A 22-year-old who invests $5,000 in an IRA and never invests again will enjoy $137,000 at retirement, compared with just $101,000 if the money were invested in a regular savings account. And you’re much better off putting your money in the markets than sticking it into a savings account that doesn’t beat inflation. It doesn’t matter how old you are — unless you’re paying off debt, the time to start saving for retirement is now.

66. Consider a flexible savings account or health savings account
Your employer may offer an FSA, which allows you to use pretax dollars to cover medical expenses that aren’t paid by insurance, tax-free. This can include a range of things — out-of-pocket costs, prescriptions and dependent coverage, for example. Because the contributions get taken out of your paycheck before taxes, it’s like saving up to 30% on medical expenses. Keep in mind, though, that you lose any funds you haven’t spent at the end of the year, so you need to budget wisely. If you have a high-deductible insurance plan, you can also contribute to a health savings account, which doesn’t lose money at year-end.

Convert clutter to cash

Let’s be honest: Chances are, you have too much stuff. If you can identify high-value items and present them well, you can have a cleaner, simpler living space as well as money to spend on what you really want.




67. Sell some stuff
Wipe off the dust, clear out the storage closet and set up a garage sale. Put some effort into presentation: Items lovingly arrayed on a table will sell better than those chucked into a cardboard box. If you don’t have enough clutter to warrant a garage sale on your own, rope a few neighbors into a group sale.
Another option is selling online through sites such as Craigslist or Nextdoor. If that takes too long or you don’t want to deal with buyers in person, be aware that pawnshops don’t just lend, they also buy items outright. You’ll probably get less than with a private sale, because the pawnshop has overhead to cover, but
you’ll get your money faster.

68. Value your antiques and collectibles
Dig into storage, sell off what is valuable and throw away the rest. Before you sell indiscriminately, double-check eBay and similar websites to see if you have a collectible, antique or valuable heirloom on your hands. If you think you might, spring for an appraisal. If you have an extra anything, chances are there’s someone who’d like to use it. As the so-called share economy grows, you have increasing opportunities to get cash for your idling machines and empty space.

72. Rent out an underused parking spot
Parking spots can be a hot commodity, particularly in crowded cities. If you happen to be holding onto a coveted spot that you do not use all the time, put it up for rent. Strategy:

Coming in at #7 on my list of ways to make money online is Ebay. I still find that Ebay is one of hte best ways to make money online by selling physical products. There’s a few different ways you can do this. You can:

• Sell your own stuff – We all seem to accumulate junk over time that you can sell on Ebay.
• Garage sale hunting – You can go garage sale hunting and this can be a lot of fun. This can actually help you make money with a hobby. I find this to be a lot of fun. One of the best things I find at garage sales are antiques and antique clothing. A lot of times people don’t realize when something is valuable. So, garage sale hunting is a great way to earn some extra money on Ebay.
• Purchase items in bulk and resell them for profit – An example of this is purchasing a bulk order of car chargers for a newly released cell phone. You can usually find a bulk manufacturer in places like China or some other asian countries. You can buy them by the hundreds or thousands and basically pay under $1 for each one, then resell them on Ebay for several dollars. You can still keep it cheap, maybe $5 for an iPhone charger, and if you only paid a dollar for that you’re making a $4 profit.

With that said, I find Ebay is better for supplemental income instead of a full-time income. But you CAN grow a full-time business on Ebay if you choose to. I simply prefer other ways to make money online. I don’t like to rely on Ebay or any single company to grow my business, so I tend to use Ebay for things that I find to be fun like garage sales. It’s not something I like to earn a full-time income from, but others do choose to grow an entire business centered around Ebay. If it’s really something you enjoy, you could do the same.

Coming in at #6 is Multi-Level Marketing, also called MLM. This is one of the better known ways to make money online because it is promoted to death. This is a great option for those who want to grow and develop a sales team. Basically, the way MLM works, is you promote one product, but then you also build a team of people under you. A lot of people don’t like MLM, myself included, because it sort of mimics a pyramid scheme. If you’re not at the top of that pyramid, you’re not going to make a lot of money. But if you do get to the top of the pyramid, you will earn an income based on sales that everyone below you is making. This can really give you a good passive income stream.
So, you need to focus on, when you first get started, is growing a team to be under you, and then having those people also build a team under them. Everybody who is under you, you’ll earn some profits on. If you’re a “team player” this can be one of the best ways to make money online.
There’s a high probability of passive income if you get to the top of the pyramid on these MLM networks. Multi-Level Marketing does take some time, so this is more of a marathon rather than a sprint. These are just a few services, but probably the most popular that are online. There are many services that exist where you can promote your own writing abilities. On something like Elance.com for example (one of my favorites), is somebody – a website owner or publication company – will post some content that they need. This isn’t one of the most profitable ways to make money online and it is also not a residual source of income, but it is a way to work from anywhere with an internet connection.
Just as a personal example, I own a website called DogFoodInsider.com. Most of the articles on that site have been written using freelancers I found on Elance.com. So, I would post a job on Elance saying that I need reviews of dog food. A bunch of freelance writers would come back with how much they charge, their experience, why they are an expert with dog food and writing dog food reviews, and then I can go ahead and choose from the list who I will hire. So, Elance.com is great, anybody can join, and in fact, any of the above services are open to any freelance writers.
The problem with freelance writing is the income can be sporadic, but it can also be relatively high paying when you do get a job. You might get hired one week to write 20 articles, but the next week, you don’t get any work at all.
Now, once you earn a reputation, you can start charging more and even earn a higher income. The goal here is to focus on a specific niche and become an expert in that niche. After that you can really thrive. When you first start and you have no experience, you’ll have to price yourself a bit lower. But once you become an expert in a specific niche, you can easily start charging more and increase your rates.

A lot of people don’t realize this, but anyone can sell an ebook on the Amazon Kindle Store and elsewhere. It’s one of the single best ways to make money online and earn a residual income. There are many places you can sell an ebook online, but the Amazon Kindle Store is by far the most popular and it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon.
With an ebook, there is no need for publishers, editors, printing companies, etc. So, you basically just write the book, you edit yourself and overhead is extremely low. You do have to share a small portion of your revenue with Amazon when you sell a copy of your book, But you’re not paying anybody up front. The only time you have to pay Amazon is if you make a sale.
Now, don’t just write one book and expect to earn a full-time income from that. What you want to do is write a series of books and start to gain a following. Number 3 on my list of ways to make money online is to become an infopreneur. I love this one because it’s how I got started. Coming in at number 2 for the best legit ways to make money online is by selling your own products or services. So many people have skills or they can make something that other people want. For example, my sister is phenomenal at making specialty cakes. Not just regular cakes, but they actually have almost a whole scene on them with different people and houses or whatever you want, she can make it. She could either sell training programs or she can sell cakes themselves. People can request cakes and go on her website and request certain things. Not only can she do this for people and make money at it, but she’s making a living doing something she really likes. It’s turning a hobby into a career.
You can promote your own business or skills on social media, on your own website, on forums, with YouTube videos, and even with super-targeted pay-per-action advertising. As you might guess, I think the #1 way to make money online is affiliate marketing. This is my all-time favorite method to make money online. You can make money selling ohter peoples products and services. In other words, you don’t have to deal with any customer service, you don’t ahve tod eal with storing any products, you don’t have to deal with any payment processing, and you don’t even ahve to hire any employees. Just create a website, get out htere on social media, start to advertise a little bit, and you will earn commissions on selling other peoples products.
There is extremely low overhead with affiliate marketing and you have none of the stress that comes with selling your own products and services. So, I love affiliate marketing.
